日本を離れ異国の地(台湾)で生活している日本人「あんちゃん」が

日々ネイティブスピーカーな人たちから学んだ日常的でごく当たり前のように

使われる表現を日本語と英語を交えてお伝えしていきます。

読者の皆さん、こんにちは
大家好.

日々の対策は万全ですか？

豚インフルエンザ(H1N1型)のことです。

ここ台湾では国民が皆非常に敏感に即対応しています。

以前SARSで大変な思いをしたためです。

オフィスビルの受付カウンターや人の出入りが多い飲食店には

消毒液が常備されています。

またマスクなどもコンビニ等ではかなりの量を準備しているそうです。

普段からマスクをしている人が多い台湾ですが、いつもより多い気がします。

日本ではどうでしょうか？

外出から戻ったら手洗い、うがいを習慣化するよう心がけましょう。

では第23回です。

今週から数回に分けて

ネイティブな人が使う四字熟語やことわざ、慣用句などお届けします。

日本、台湾、大陸(中国)共に漢字を使う民族です。

よって共通する言葉も存在します。

今回は私たち日本人にもよく使うものから「なんとなくわかる」ものまでを

いくつかピックアップします。

入境随俗.

rùjìng suí sú.

ルージンスェイスー.

When in Roma, do as the Romans do.

郷に入らば郷に従え。

他是大器晚成的人.

tāshì dà qì wǎn chéng de rén.

ターシーダーチーワンチォンデェ゛ァレン.

He is a late bloomer. (Great talents maturelate.)

彼は大器晩成型だ。

網際(網路)技術有日新月異的變化.

wǎngjì (wǎng lù) jì shù yǒu rì xīn yuè yì de biàn huà.

ワンジー (ワンルー) ジーシュヨウリ゛ーシンユェイーデェ゛ァビィェンファ.

Internet technology changes advancingconstantly.

インターネット技術は日進月歩で変化している。

好事多磨.

hǎoshì duō mó.

ハオシードゥォムォ.

Happy events tend to be accompanied byproblems.

好事魔多し。

的確是百聞不如一見.

dequè shì bǎi wén bù rú yī jiàn.

デェ゛ァチュェシーバイウェンブールーイージィェン.

Picture is worth a thousand words. (Seeing isbelieving.)

まさに百聞は一見に如かずだ。

いかがですか？

「大器晩成」のように日本語とそのまんまのものもあれば

「百聞は一見に如かず」なんて文字にすればわかりますよね。

また「好事魔多し」や「日進月歩」などはなんとなくこの意味だろうな？

って感じがしませんか？　感じますよね。

ただ会話の中で理解するにはやはり訓練が必要です。

中国語はトーンの言語ですから

聞きながらあるいは話しながら

意識的に頭の中で文字(漢字)を並べていく訓練を日々続けてみてください。

最初は短い言葉(文章)でいいんです。

また独り言を日本語ではなく中国語(または英語)で話す訓練も一つの方法です。

徐々に慣れてくれば潜在意識の中に組み込まれてくるようになります。

ネイティブになるってそういうこと(自然に出てくるもの)ですから。
